Avoid cold walls and windows
Consider thick curtains, wall hangings and carpets. On single-glazed windows, you could add a transparent window film to reduce heat loss.
Reach for the earplugs
Sometimes the simplest solutions are the most eective. If night-time noise keeps you awake, earplugs could be all you need (just remember to set your alarm loud enough).
