In 2013, Saint-Gobain built the first MULTICOMFORT house in Belarus.

This four-person family house is situated on a 10.5 hectare plot, 30 miles from the capital of Belarus, Minsk.

The build combined MULTICOMFORT design with Passive House and Active House principles to achieve the highest standards of energy efficiency and indoor comfort.

Highlights and challenges

The key objective of this residential project was to demonstrate the ability to construct an energy efficient and optimally comfortable house, which is also affordable.
