Situated in CovasnaCounty, Romania the building was at the time when it was finished the biggest structure on CLT in SE Europe.

The project is the first Saint-Gobain Multi Comfort Commercial building in Romania. Following the work done from the beginning of project drafting with the architects dedicated solutions were applied.
The budget was provided by the owner of the office building and SG was provided products from: ISOVER, Rigips, Glass, Weber.

 

Objective and vision

The objective was to create a better working environment where one of the effects was saving energy. The vision of the project was to help create an reference office building, first of its kind in Romania. The unique aspect of this construction is that it represents exceptional technical results with an stylish look.

Once finished, Reci Multi Comfort House Office will be used as an office building for the company that owns the construction.

 

Highlights and challenges

Among the main chalenges linked with the building was the climate conditions with temperatures of caculation of  -25C in the winter.  However we faced very good cooperation amount the local teams that suported the analyse and development of the project.

 

What we learned

Beeing involved in the project from the begining (initial drafting idea) is a huge advantage allowing us to be able to make the necesary simulation to be able to stear the project in the right direction.
