This ambitious project set out to become the first mixed-use residential, civic amenity and commercial development to achieve Passive House status in Slovakia.

We successfully applied MULTICOMFORT principles to complete the new build and part renovation aspects of the project, and it has since been recognised as the first building in the country to be awarded LEED Platinum certification.

 

Highlights and challenges

This comprehensive new build and part renovation project involved the application of four aspects of sustainability: Brownfield, Recycling, Energy Efficiency and Community.
