We believe that buildings can and should deliver improved comfort; health and wellbeing for everyone, everywhere and having the minimum impact on the enviroment over their lifetime.

Universities are preparing the future generations and students are already building the future. We all together can build a better world with great living places.

The objective of the Multi Comfort Student Contest is to develop a project based on sustainable design, energy efficieny and the MULTI COMFORT program: Thermal comfort, Acoustic comfort, Visual comfort and Indoor air quality, in order to create better and great living places everywhere.

How does it work ?

Every year Saint-Gobain selects a country with an architectural challenge and works very close with the local authorities to develop a task that will address real social and cultural issues. Students from different universities all around the world are bringing up their best ideas.

National Stage

Competition against other students and/or universities of the same country. The best project will travel and compete in the international stage.

International Stage

A three-day event with the exhibition of the projects, students’ presentations, awarding ceremony and local activities.
Participants have just 5 minutes to present their projects and demonstrate why they deserve the 1st prize!

THE PARTICIPANTS:

Students of architecture, construction engineering, design or any other discipline can participate as individuals or in teams of 2 persons per team.

THE JURY:

During the international stage the jury is normally composed by local representatives, recognized international architects and Saint-Gobain experts.
