Saint-Gobain has supported the Municipality of Caravaggio in the renovation of the primary school of Masano village, according to MULTI COMFORT program. The school had been closed in 2014 due to anti-seismic inadequacy, forcing pupils and teachers to move elsewhere. This renovation has transformed a 1950s building into the first MULTI COMFORT school in Italy: an exemplary building that guarantees an optimal balance between energy efficiency, sustainability, safety and comfort.

Saint-Gobain has supplied materials for transparent and opaque envelope, partition walls, ceilings, floors and pipe systems. Saint-Gobain has also provided to the Municipality a technical consultancy service for design and installation phases. The result is a public-private partnership and also a Corporate Social Responsibility case study, that highlights the engagement of Saint-Gobain with local community, as one of Isover plants is located in a nearby village.
